Home - College-Age Ministry
We meet two times every week:
- 1. Every Sunday morning at 9:00am, in Classroom #3 in the Education Wing. Kim Siegfried brings breakfast for us, and we're studying the New Testament book of I Corinthians.
- 2. Once a month, on the third Saturday of the month, we meet at the church to put together packages for the Homeless, and then we go downtown in Indy to distribute them to the Homeless under bridges, and in tent cities. Call Ed for details. 405-7778
The college Class is ministering with the Indianapolis homeless. We are teaming with
“Tearing down the Walls”. Starting in September we will be going downtown the third Saturday of every month. We will meet together at the church and prepare food at 5:00 p.m. We leave the church around 5:30 and go downtown to minister to those who are homeless and in need. We will be downtown from 6:00 pm. To 8:00 pm, returning to the church for time to reflect and socialize.
We will be involving the church family in prayer with us and to help raise the items we will be taking downtown with us. (blankets, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, food, batteries, matches, water).
Led by Ed and Kim Siegfried, this group is for all those College-age (not just for those presently attending college), and is a group of about 20. Some of us are working, some of us are attending college classes locally, and some of us come to this group when we are home for the summer or on break. Come join us!
We really look forward to meeting you if you are College-Age!
